At the 2018 national education conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out,"we must work hard to enhance our overall quality,educate and guide students to develop their comprehensive abilities and cultivate innovative thinking." In such a goal,junior middle school students’ community as a powerful support for junior middle school students to improve their comprehensive quality,we need to pay more attention to constructing junior middle school students’ community management.And now improving the overall level of junior high school students’ community management is imperative.Based on Marvin R.Weisbord’s “Six-box Model”,this study proposes strategies to improve the management of junior middle school community from six dimensions.According to the investigation of student associations in two public schools in T City,the results show that the goals and activities of the associations do not match,the division of post responsibilities is not reasonable,the communication between the associations and the outside world is not smooth,the incentive system is not feasible,the activity guidance is not professional enough,and the attendance of members is not stable.Through the investigation and interview analysis,we find that the causes of the problems of junior middle school students’ community management include: lack of democratic discussion on the activity objectives,lack of selfadjustment in the organizational structure,lack of cooperation mechanism in interpersonal relationship,lack of fund guarantee for community rewards,lack of careful building of teachers,lack of innovative thinking in the activity content.In view of the above problems,this study combines Six Places to Look for Trouble With or Without a Theory,college students’ community management theory,junior high school community curriculum management theory and goal management theory to propose targeted strategies: implementing the goal management to realize selfmanagement;strengthening the power management to ensure the reasonable division of labor;innovating the cooperation mechanism to deepen the communication and cooperation;changing the mind of development to increase the support;strengthening the teachers to enhance the guidance;exploring the characteristic development to add the charm of the community.Through the solutions of the internal and external problems of junior high school students’ associations,we can improve the level of community management.
