| In recent years,learning procrastination has become a hot topic of social concern and the focus of research in related fields.Studies have found that procrastination is more common among college students than other student groups.This study aims to explore the relationship between students’ sense of security,fear of missing out,pathological Internet use and learning procrastination,as well as the mediating effect of fear of missing out and pathological Internet use on students’ sense of security and learning procrastination.The effective data of 740 college students were obtained online and offline by using the Security Scale,fear of error Scale,pathological Internet Use Scale and Learning Procrastination scale.After statistical analysis of the data,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Studies show that college students have learning procrastination,and the level of learning procrastination is relatively high.The sudden dominance dimension and mood change dimension of pathological Internet use are also significantly higher.The overall level of fear of missing is relatively low,and the level of security is relatively high.(2)There is a significant grade difference in learning procrastination among college students,and the overall trend decreases with the increase of grade.The freshman is significantly higher than the junior and senior,and the sophomore is significantly higher than the senior.There is no significant difference among other grades.(3)There were significant differences in gender,place of origin and whether the fear of missing was the only child.Male students were significantly higher than female students,urban students were significantly higher than rural students,and only children were significantly higher than non-only children.There were significant differences in the use of pathological network among subjects,and liberal arts were significantly higher than engineering and science subjects,while there was no significant difference between engineering and science subjects.(4)The sense of security was negatively correlated with fear of missing out,pathological Internet use and learning delay.Fear of missing was positively correlated with pathological Internet use and learning delay.Pathological Internet use is positively correlated with learning delay.(5)Pathological Internet use partially mediated the relationship between sense of safety and learning procrastination.Fear of missing out and pathological Internet use play a chain mediating role between safety and learning procrastination. |
