| The process of education,in nature,is the process of passing information.In the information society,the information exchange and transmission mode between parents and children has an effect on all aspects of family education.Parents are the first teachers in their children’s lives,so whether their educational concepts and behaviors are right or wrong directly or indirectly influence their children’s development.Therefore,the research on the formation reasons and formative factors for parents’ educational concepts and behavior mistakes and which factors have a substantial effect on children’s development is of great significance to improve the family education quality.This research mainly adopts methods such as literature research,questionnaire and quantitative analysis,and regards parents from some urban and township public schools in W District,S City as the research object.The author of this thesis then carries out an empirical research on their educational misunderstanding:educational concepts and behavior mistakes.In June 2019,a research group from Central China Normal University compiled Questionnaire on Family Education-Guardian Volume which is issued to parents from 5 schools such as Experimental Primary School in W District.Tanqiu Primary School in Shengze Town,Qidu Middle School,Qidu Primary School and Badu Kindergarten in Zhenze Town.After the questionnaires are collected,those unqualified are removed.616 effective questionnaires are finally acquired.All data are inputted with SPSS22.0 software to analyze the data on the basic family information,educational concepts,educational behaviors and the family guidance.The thesis concludes and summarizes the manifestation mode and content of parents’ educational concepts and behavior mistakes in the information society.With regard to the aspects of different parents’ information literacy,education background and urban and rural differences,the thesis analyzes the children’s development differences deeply.At the same time,the thesis carries out the correlation analysis on relevant elements of parents’ educational concepts and behaviors.Finally,the thesis deduces the regression equation of relevant factors such as parents’ mistakes,parents’ educational concepts and behaviors in the information society.In the information society,parents’ educational concepts and behavior mistakes are most directly related to aspects such as the recognition of educational concepts,requirements on scores,educational difficulty,information literacy,mothers’ educational level and educational expectation,which have an important effect on children’s comprehensive development.Their mistakes can be seen in facts:(1)Parents universally lack the necessary knowledge about the Internet information,and neglect necessary education on their children’s information literacy in the family education;(2)Although parents strongly recognize the positive educational concepts,they fail to implement it through the "educational behaviors" sufficiently;(3)Due to low educational level,parents in the township have many mistakes in both the educational concepts and the behavior implementation.Besides,they lack self-discipline in the face of Internet information and they "grandiose aims but puny abilities" concerning their requirements on their children;(4)Although the information is advanced in current society,the effective communication channel between parents and schools is single and the "co-construction between family and schools" is not ideal;(5)The social institutions mainly focus on the knowledge education without providing family education guidance for parents.The online education was not enough before,but it has been improved after the COVID-19.Finally,the thesis comprehensively analyzes and explains the parents’mistakes,and analyzes as well as summarizes the comprehensive development of children.The thesis describes the "interactive feedback mechanism" in the family education of parents(mainly referring to fathers and mothers)in the information society.The thesis also proposes suggestions and rectifying strategies in order to provide a basis for the improvement of the family education situation in Wujiang District of Suzhou City. |
