Since the reform and opening up,the country has restored the college entrance examination system,and private colleges and universities have experienced a development process from scratch,from small to large,from small to large,from demanding quantity to quality.After years of development,private colleges and universities have become an indispensable part of my country’s higher education.In the process of rapid development and growth of private universities,they encountered many problems.One of them is that the loss of teachers in private universities is very serious,especially the young and middle-aged teachers.The frequent loss of teachers affects the social image of private colleges and universities.Internally,it directly affects normal teaching management,teaching quality,teaching reform,scientific research projects,the quality of talent training and the construction of the school’s core professional team.The loss of teachers in private universities is affected by many factors,involving the government,society,schools,and individuals.The main factor lies in the management of private universities.Due to various reasons such as salary,management level,social security,school philosophy,teaching environment,scientific research atmosphere,social status and campus environment,it is difficult for schools to attract outstanding talents to join and stay in private universities for a long time.This article uses the theories of the hierarchy of needs and the psychological contract theory to analyze the problem of the loss of teachers in private universities in my country.Taking A private colleges and universities as an example,through questionnaire surveys and interviews with leaders,professors,in-service teachers,leaving teachers,etc.,the problems existing in the process of the loss of teachers in private colleges in my country are found.Through the layered analysis of these reasons,it is found that the most important problems are the low and unfair salary package,imperfect social security,low social status,and unreasonable management systems of private colleges,such as:private school funders have no system constraints,Teacher salaries are linked to enrollment performance,all teachers participate in enrollment,department leaders are mostly people with good enrollment performance,and so on.Many teachers are impatient and cannot teach with peace of mind.As a result,teachers in private universities lack a sense of belonging,and the turnover rate is relatively high.Based on literature research,questionnaire surveys,and interviews,the author proposes to solve the problem of the loss of private teachers from the following aspects:First,solve the problem of social security for teachers in private universities.Second,society should eliminate negative reports on private schools and recognize the social status of private teachers in order to increase their confidence in the profession.Third,the organizers and managers of private colleges and universities truly put people first,cherish,protect,and safeguard their employees.Fourth,private colleges and universities should improve system reforms,improve democratic management,and replace "personal"management with "system" management.Finally,as far as the teachers of private universities are concerned,they need to improve their self-awareness and give full play to the spirit of the hero,correct their value orientation,do what they love,and truly integrate into the school environment.In this way,the government,society,schools,and individuals take multiple measures and work together to make private college teachers attract,retain,and use well,and make long-term and stable contributions to the development of private education.
