| With the continuous reform of the new curriculum of primary education,the requirement for teacher’s comprehensive quality is gradually become much more demanding,also,the professional development of teachers emphasizes that teachers should constantly improve themselves in their own fields.In China,the pre-service teacher education which aims at primary education mainly refers to the systematic education of students in Normal Universities,and the curriculum of pre-service teacher education will directly affects the quality of students in Normal Universities.In recent years with the release of some national polices,the trend of "practical-oriented" teacher education has gradually become the goal of the curriculum reform of the pre-service teacher education,both inevitably and necessarily.Therefore,to have a thorough understanding of the current situation of the pre-service teacher training in Normal Universities and to have a study of the pre-service teacher education curriculum from the practical aspect is both of theoretical and practical significance.The thesis will starting from the theoretical and practical research aspects and will use literature analysis method to systematically introduce the research results based on practical-oriented teacher education curriculum from both domestically and abroad,it will conclude and summarize the basic concept of "practical orientation" and will define its relevant practical concepts.It will also expound the necessary components of pre-service teacher education curriculum on the basis of clarifying the basic concept of "practical orientation".This thesis will take a Normal University known as ”C” as an example.It will use case analysis method to take a look at the training programs with students in different majors,which will include four sessions known as the training objectives,course contents,course implementations and course evaluations.At the same time,we will do some interviews on Normal University students with various majors with questionspertaining to the investigation objectives.Through the investigation,we found that the current stage of our country’s pre-service teacher education curriculum has not fully implement the practical-oriented requirements,problems still arise such as the training objects are too general to be implemented,the curriculum content is not well-designed and relatively closed,the curriculum implementation is single-formed and lacks of guarantee mechanism,the curriculum evaluation is not representative and neglects the cultivation of students practical skills and abilities.There are many reasons attributed to the vague "practical orientation" of pre-service teacher education courses,however,those factors such as the poor implementation of policies,the relatively-fixed contents of the traditional pre-service teacher education courses,lacks of course-designing personnel and great difficulties of school-running can also influence that.Based on the analysis of the practical problems existing in the curriculum of pre-service teacher education of C Normal University,studying from the ”practical orientation” aspect,the thesis puts forward several strategies to optimize the mentioned problems as follows: to further specifies the cultivation objects which connects primary education that highlights the integration of practice and reflection competence;To build an integrated curriculum content system combining practice and theories;To ensure those schools guaranteed by relevant mechanisms can have a diverse and effective curriculum implementing plan;to improve the evaluate program of multi-component assessment curriculum based on practice.By implementing those methods,we can relieve the problems in the practical oriented pre-service teacher education to a certain extent,and during the cultivation process of pre-service teacher education,we can better integrate practice and theories,so we can help those normal university students to form their own practical experiences and gain wisdoms that they can better serve the primary education. |
