Study On The Effectiveness Of After-school Tutoring For High-level Graders In Primary School Students

With the improvement of people’s living standards,more and more families need more education than school education.Many parents will open various "small stoves" for their children after school and holidays.This kind of education form attached to school exists around us,usually called "extra-curricular" or "shadow education".At present,there are relatively few research results about extra-curricular of primary school students in China,lacking of investigation and Research on the scale,subjects,investment and influencing factors of extra-curricular of primary school.By using the methods of investigation,literature research and interview,the fourth,fifth and sixth grade students of G primary school in Wuhan city were investigated by questionnaire sampling,to understand the existing problems and analyze the reasons,so as to correctly understand the out of school tutoring ofhigh-level graders in primary school students.After the analysis of the differences in the effect of the supplementary study ofhigh-level graders in primary school students,it is found that taking part in the supplementary study outside the school has no significant positive effect on the Chinese performance of high-level graders in primary school students;taking part in the supplementary study outside the school has a certain positive effect on improving the math performance of senior primary school students,the ranking of the overall math performance of students and the ranking of the overall English performance.In the analysis of the differences between the students who take part in the extra-curricular and the students who do not take part in the extra-curricular,it is found that there is no significant difference in scores between the students who take part in the extra-curricular and the students who do not take part in the extra-curricular.After analyzing the probability of the students in the senior grade of primary school,it is found that the probability of the girls in the senior grade of primary school is higher than that of the boys;the probability of the students who feel depressed or unhappy is lower;the higher the education level of their father,the lower the probability of the students.At the same time,it was found that the higher the education level of the father,the stronger the self-confidence of the students who took part in the extra-curricular study.On the basis of the analysis of the research results,this paper also summarizes the problems existing in the extracurricular tutoring from the three aspects of students,families and school teachers,and analyzes the reasons from the six aspects of students,parents,school teachers,extracurricular tutoring institutions,social competition and traditional entrance culture.In view of the problems and reasons existing in the extracurricular tutoring,this paper puts forward the corresponding four aspects Solutions.The details are as follows: strive to improve,be a good student of healthy growth;love children,be a good parent of care;strengthen professional learning,be a good teacher of people’s satisfaction;perform duties,be a good public servant of people’s love.
