| In the developing information age,English plays an increasingly important role as an international information transmission medium,and English plays an equally important role in education.English reading teaching is more comprehensive in English teaching,and it has high requirements for teachers and students.As an interactive and flexible teaching method and strategy,interactive teaching approach can be widely used in daily teaching,especially in English reading teaching.The author will explore its application in junior high school English reading from the perspective of interactive teaching approach.The author conducted a one-semester experimental research on interactive teaching approach.The experiment was carried out on 80 students in grade eight of a junior high school.Traditional teaching approach was adopted in the control class and interactive teaching approach was adopted in the experimental class.The research questions of the study are the following two: 1.What are the effects of interactive teaching approach on students’ reading interests? 2.What are the effects of interactive teaching approach on students’ reading ability? This study mainly adopts the research methods of questionnaire,tests and interview to study in the two classes.The experimental study found that the interactive teaching approach used in junior high school English reading can help activate students’ reading interests,improve students’ reading ability to a certain extent.The author believes that interactive teaching approach is suitable for junior high school English reading teaching under the background of new curriculum,and can effectively improve students’ reading interests and reading ability.However,due to the short experiment time and the number of experiments is limited,in the future,the author will carry out further research and practice,and apply interactive teaching approach to reading teaching extensively. |
