Piano Performance Analysis Of Chen Peixun’s "Variations On The Theme Of Two Flying Butterflies"

Mr.Chen Peixun is a famous composer,educator and pianist in the 20th century.His music creation began in the Anti-Japanese War period,in terms of the creation of works,the purpose of his life is to explore Chinese piano music works with national characteristics,and its creation and Chinese traditional culture closely combined.His“ Variations on the Theme of Two Flying Butterflies ” is regarded as the main representative of guangdong piano works in Cantonese tone,and is always a must in concerts and piano grading competitions.By consulting literature,searching relevant materials,watching performance videos and listening to audio,practicing a lot of key and difficult parts of this piece,fully grasp the performance of this work.This paper discusses the works from three parts.The first chapter introduces the author and the creation background of the works,so as to have a preliminary understanding of the works.The second chapter through the works of music ontology analysis,understand the works of formal structure and speed of change,the third chapter through the special processing of timbre and multi-level parts,octave and chords,the use of the pedal for the works from the Angle of the four aspects of playing the piano a detailed written,work performance,emotion processing difficulties had more in-depth grasp;Finally,I summarized my own experience of stage practice and expressed that body language also plays an important role in stage performance.The second creation of the performance of the work brings the audience into a more perfect enjoyment not only in hearing,but also in vision.I hope that through my in-depth study,I can have a fuller understanding and grasp of this work,and present a more perfect effect in performance,so as to provide some reference and help for myself and other readers in performance.
