| There are few relevant studies about the investigation of the current situation of teaching the phonetic sounds of native Chinese proverbs in Pakistan.Based on the questionnaire survey of Chinese language learners in three Confucius Institutes in Pakistan,this thesis uses the literature research method,online interview method,and questionnaire survey method to investigate the situation of teachers,teaching performance,and the learning situation and learning effectiveness of Chinese phonetics teaching in Pakistan,taking the Confucius Institute of Karachi University and NadirshawEduljiDinshaw University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi as the research objects.The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the teachers’ situation,teaching performance,and the learning situation and effectiveness of Chinese language learners in Pakistan.The purpose of this study is to follow up the latest teaching activities on the teaching of Chinese phonetics and students’ learning effectiveness in Pakistan,and to find that the current teaching has the characteristics of diversified groups of learners and a large mobility of teachers,and that the problems such as the diversity of teachers’ phonetics teaching methods need to be improved,the phonetics teaching skills need to be improved,and the students’ knowledge acquisition ability and classroom feedback are not timely need to be optimized.We propose solutions for the weaknesses of teachers’teaching quality and students’ professional knowledge,and make suggestions for the localization of Chinese teacher volunteers and local teachers’ training in Pakistan.After the survey and analysis,it is concluded that there is a certain correlation between teachers’ teaching quality and the effectiveness of Chinese phonetics learning for Pakistani students,and that students prefer to study with Chinese teachers who have solid basic professional knowledge,flexible teaching methods and easy-tounderstand classroom content.This paper attempts to analyze the influence of teachers’ phonetic knowledge and teaching methods on students’ phonetic learning,in order to promote the selection and training of teachers and the improvement of the quality of phonetic teaching for Chinese learners in the future.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of the study,analyzes the current situation of the study,and explains the research objectives,significance of the study and research methods of this paper.Chapter 2 is the questionnaire survey and implementation.The first chapter introduces the overview of language education and Chinese teaching in Pakistan,focusing on the Confucius Institutes in Pakistan,and introduces the basic contents of the questionnaire design:survey respondents,survey purpose,questionnaire design,and survey implementation.Chapter 3 is the main part of the article,which analyzes the survey results.The analysis is divided into four methods,the first one is the analysis of basic information of the respondents.The second aspect is the analysis of Chinese learners’ evaluation of their own phonological learning and the evaluation of teachers’phonological teaching methods.The third aspect was to investigate and analyze the teachers’phonological skills.The fourth area is to investigate and analyze the learners’ specific phonological learning performance,including:phonemes,vowels of the same phonetic alphabet,cognitive aspects of phonemic variants,and tones.Chapter 4 proposes recommendations for the teaching of Chinese phonetics in Pakistan from the aspects of Chinese teacher selection and local teacher selection and training,and Chapter 5 concludes. |
