| The Birmingham School believes that the formation of youth-subcultural style is a kind of "ritual resistance" to mainstream society and will eventually be incorporated into mainstream culture.With the empowerment of new media technologies,the youth subculture has gradually entered the mainstream cultural vision with its fantastic creativity.The youth subculture gradually gets rid of the previous marginalization and traditional ritual resistance and has developed an interactive and blending relationship with the mainstream culture.This article selects bilibili,which is currently the most specific and abundant youth subculture in China,as an entry point.First,it draws on the youth subculture research of the Birmingham School,and adds post-subculture theory as a supplement,and analyzes youth subculture by combining text analysis and questionnaire surveys.The flow of style and resistance.Secondly,it selects the discourse practice of mainstream culture on bilibili and analyzes mainstream culture’s attitude change to youth subculture.Research has found that in the new media environment,the construction and expression of youth-subcultural styles are more diversified.The virtuality of the Internet has eliminated the identities and classes in mainstream society.The return of the right to speak makes the youth-subcultural styles change from strong to moderate.Resistance to the search for identity,from the commercial integration of mainstream culture to the realization of the freedom of wealth transfer by oneself,to the back-feeding of the mainstream culture,the boundary between the mainstream culture and the youth subculture is no longer clear.Finally,when reflecting on this interactive and fusion relationship,I saw the inevitable contradictions and dilemmas between mainstream culture and youth subculture and provided some ideas for integrating mainstream culture and youth subculture. |
