Since Chen Shixiang put forward the theory of Chinese "Lyric tradition" in 1971,this theory has gradually become a complex academic pedigree.Later,it was transformed by Wang Dewei into an exhibition of the historical richness of "modern lyric subject" and introduced into the vision of modern literature.As a successor of modern lyric novels,Wang Zengqi does not appear in the framework of Wang Dewei’s "epic" and "Lyric",but in fact,Wang Zengqi is an indispensable character in the continuation and expansion of "Lyric tradition" in the history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature.For a long time,the academic research on Wang Zengqi has been focused on novels and prose,but his opera creation,as the most important literary practice from the 1950 s to the 1980 s,has rarely been paid attention to.Wang Zengqi has continued the tradition of modern lyric novels,which has been the consensus of the academic circles.The writer’s creation itself has integrity,and the creation style of novels and prose is inevitably transplanted to opera works in the product,so it is necessary to study Wang Zengqi’s opera creation from the perspective of "Lyric tradition".Because of the special creative background of traditional opera,the lyric tradition is more complicated.In this paper,the author tries to take Wang Zengqi’s Opera texts as the theme,and take the "lyric tradition theory" proposed by Chen Shixiang and introduced by Wang Dewei into modern literature as the field of vision,combine the background of the times and his personal experiences,comprehensively analyze the cross style Lyric characteristics of Wang Zengqi’s opera creation content on the integration of "poetry" and "history" and the cross style Lyric characteristics embodied in the text form.Based on Wang Zengqi’s practice of "Beijing Opera modernization" practice and "the repressed Lyric tradition" in modern times,the author tries to analyze the present situation and development of Chinese traditional opera.At the beginning chapter,it mainly describes why Wang Zengqi chose traditional opera to create and the current research situation of his opera creation in academic circles.In the process of his first contact with Opera,we found that Wang Zengqi’s creative transformation is not only caused by the early education environment,but also reveals the symptoms of the changes of the times.At the same time,he improved and explored the development of "the modernity of opera" with the writer’s high consciousness when the traditional opera was affected and declined by the modernity.The first chapter mainly analyzes the relationship between Wang Zengqi’s opera creation and lyric tradition.First of all,Wang Zengqi,as a conscious stylist,has been trying to turn the script into lyric literature like novels,essays and poems from the perspective of stylistic independence.Second,opera itself,as a traditional art rooted in lyric poetry,is an important part of traditional Chinese culture.Finally,in the collision between Wang Zengqi’s individual subject and the times,the opera,as a window of "psychological catharsis" and the prescription of "self-healing",has the dialectical connotation of "lyric and epic" written by Wang Dewei.The second chapter analyzes the lyric tradition of Wang Zengqi’s opera creation from the content,which is also the extension and refinement of the third section in chapter one(between "individual" and "history"),and mainly selects four opera texts related to the changes of the times for close reading.Combined with Wang Zengqi’s personal experience,this paper analyzes the lyric connotation of Wang Zengqi’s script creation or adaptation in a specific historical period.The third chapter is to analyzes the lyric tradition of Wang Zengqi’s drama creation from the form,and further examines the aesthetic connotation of Wang Zengqi’s drama creation by exploring the cross stylistic experiments in the three aspects of "characters","language" and "plot".The fourth chapter is mainly analyzes the development dilemma of Chinese traditional opera,this part combines Wang Zengqi’s creative theory of "content" and "form",and thinks about the "modernity of opera" in the light of the current historical environment.The last part analyzes Wang Zengqi’s inheritance and development of humanitarianism and Beijing School tradition from the two titles of "the last scholar bureaucrat" and "the last scholar of Beijing School".The “lyric tradition” has already been embodied in Wang Zengqi’s individual subject spirit,greatly broadening and extending the connotation of modern literature Lyric tradition.
