Investigation On Pagodas In Hexi Area

The Hexi area is located in the core section of the Silk Road.Buddhism has developed and prospered in history,and a large number of pagodas have been built.Hexi Pagodas have been affected by natural and man-made factors for hundreds of years.Some have collapsed and disappeared,and some have survived under the protection of the joint efforts of society,and there are still rich remains.The Hexi Pagoda has multiple functions and is of great value.Its historical evolution,shape,distribution,and preservation status are all yet to be studied.At the same time,field investigations found that the preservation of some pagodas in the Hexi area is not optimistic,and the protection of the pagodas in Hexi should be put on the agenda.This article takes the Hexi Pagoda as the research object.Firstly,I sorted out the formation and development of the Hexi Pagoda.Secondly,through on-site inspections and combined with data,a brief description of the existing conditions of the pagoda in Hexi.Once again,I explored the architectural art of the pagodas in Hexi;compared the pagodas in different regions and different eras,and reached some conclusions.Finally,the functional value of the pagoda in Hexi is discussed,the preservation status quo is analyzed,and the protection suggestions and methods are put forward in a targeted manner.
