On the basis of material objects and previous research results,combined with historical documents,this paper starts with the bilingual official seal of Manchu and Mongolia in the Qing Dynasty from two aspects of its and shape and quality,and summarizes the official seal system adopted by the Qing government in Mongolia,combs the process of the Qing Dynasty’s unification of Mongolian,and shows the alliance relationship between Manchu and Mongolia in the Qing Dynasty.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter from the macro level analysis of the Qing Dynasty Mongolian official seal has been excavated,from the perspective of character combination,it is divided into Mongolian single language official seal and bilingual official seal,three body official seal,four body official seal.The second chapter from the Qing Dynasty Manchu Mongolian bilingual official seal characters,from the text interpretation and seal characters analysis.In the part of text interpretation,through the interpretation of the excavated official seal,we can restore the undiscovered official seal within our ability.In the aspect of typography,according to the typography,the official seal of Manchu Mongolian bilingual characters is divided into three categories: Liu Ye seal,Zhuo seal and Xuan Zhen seal,so as to summarize the historical facts behind them.The third chapter starts with the texture and button style of Manchu Mongolian bilingual official seal in Qing Dynasty,and divides it into two parts: Tiger button silver seal awarded to Mongolian high-level officials and direct bronze seal awarded to Mongolian grass-roots officials.It also studies its specifications,grades and uses,and explains the political system and cultural connotation behind it.
