| As the building material of language,vocabulary is the most important part of language teaching,and its learning effect directly affects students’ communicative ability.In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,vocabulary teaching runs through the whole progress of Chinese learning.As the three major teaching concepts--Word-based teaching method,character-based teaching method and morpheme teaching method have received much attention and have a profound impact on the vocabulary teaching of Chinese teachers.The morpheme teaching method,as a teaching method that fits the characteristics of Chinese,is worthy of in-depth research and application by Chinese teachers in practical teaching.In the process of teaching at the Confucius Institute at the University of Burundi,I found that most HSK vocabulary were taught by translation method,which are relatively rigid.Morpheme teaching method is chosen in this article as the vocabulary teaching method,which aims to attract teachers’ attention and change the concept of vocabulary teaching.The article is composed of four parts.The first part points out the importance of morpheme teaching method in vocabulary teaching by analyzing the characteristics,theoretical basis and feasibility of morpheme and morpheme teaching method.The second part Analyses the vocabulary of the students and the textbooks used in the class.The third part takes the 14 th lesson of "HSK Standard Course 3" "Please Bring the Fruits Here" as an example,and selects some of the morphemes for detailed explanation.The fourth part is to give some advice and suggestion for morpheme teaching method in textbook compilation and teacher teaching based on teaching experience.Finally,I hope that the suggestions will provide ideas for future Chinese vocabulary teaching,and provide reference and help for future Chinese teachers,aiming to effectively improve students’ Chinese proficiency. |
