| The creative practice of works of art is inseparable from the author’s life experience and observation.Swiss psychologist Carl Jung once said that our external situation is the outward projection of our inner world. If we can look more at our inner world and unify our inner quality and subjective feelings with the external environment and the objective world,we will be able to perceive our true self.In this mental state, art creators will have a complete sense of unity of nature and man when creating works. Therefore, how to study the true feelings of the inner world is an important part of the artistic creation. This paper takes the theme of "searching for self" as the starting point, takes the examples of self-understanding in literary and artistic works as the connection, sorts out and induces specific examples to elaborate the author’s point of view. This paper is mainly divided into three parts for creative practice. The first part is the collection and sorting of data, which summarizes and analyzes the research theories with self-exploration as the theme, and plays a theoretical support role for the overall creative practice.Secondly, the relationship between the content of the specific ceramists’ works, their inner will quality and life experience is extended and discussed to further demonstrate the importance of self-exploration in artistic creation. The third is to explore the series of "Self-exploration in social relations","Self-exploration in the eyes of others","Self-exploration in the series of" Real self "three themes to carry out creative practice.Using ceramic art techniques and materials, and in the creation practice to perceive how to connect the internal quality and works, thinking about how to integrate the quality of my own will into the creation practice of works, how to better integrate philosophical concepts and modern ceramic art, hoping to explore a way of ceramic art creation of my own. |
