Study On The Decoration Of Ceramic Kiln Industry In Mid-late Qing Dynasty

The Qing Dynasty was the heyday of the development of China’s porcelain industry,and the decorative themes of porcelain were very rich.In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,kiln affair diagram appeared in porcelain decoration as a new decorative subject.The appearance of kiln affair diagram has unique characteristics of The Times.It reflects the broadening of ceramic decoration subject in the Qing Dynasty,and on the other hand,it also reflects people’s attention to the porcelain industry in Jingdezhen in the Qing Dynasty.In this paper,the object of study is the ceramic kilns in the middle and late Qing Dynasty,and the methods of literature research and comparative analysis are used to carry out the research by combining the ancient books,documents and image data that record the development of porcelain industry in the Qing Dynasty.Firstly,the development background of ceramic kiln event drawing in the Qing Dynasty was explored.Secondly,the development of decoration theme of ceramic kiln event drawing was summarized,and a comparative study was conducted with historical records of porcelain industry in the same period from four aspects: porcelain making process,kiln building form,craftsman’s clothing,and geomorphic features of Jingdezhen.Through the study,the evolution law of the artistic characteristics of ceramic kiln drawings is summarized,that is,the types of modeling evolve from single to diversified;Decorative themes evolved from porcelain-making pictures to imperial kiln pictures;Decoration composition from horizontal to three-dimensional evolution;The extension of the Qing emperor’s interest in porcelain industry and the reproduction of the prosperity of imperial kiln factories are the important factors affecting the evolution of ceramic kiln decoration in the Qing Dynasty.Through a comprehensive analysis of the ceramic kiln drawings in the middle and late Qing Dynasty,the technological process,production pattern and geographical environment of the porcelain industry in Jingdezhen were revealed,and the development of the porcelain industry in Jingdezhen in the Qing Dynasty was reflected.
