Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Severe Cold Syndrome Pneumonia With Shegan Mahuang Decoction

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Shegan Mahuang decoction in severe pneumonia patients with wind-cold attack lung type by taking Shegan Mahuang decoction orally and combining it with basic medical treatment of Western medicine,including the influence of PCT,CRP,IL-6,Pa O2/Fi O2,TCM Syndrome Score,CPIS score,Sofa score,mechanical ventilation time,28-day mortality and the presence or absence of serious adverse reactions,it provides a new idea and definite clinical basis for the early treatment of severe pneumonia with wind-cold attack.MethodA total of 60 patients with severe pneumonia with wind-cold attack who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were admitted to ICU of our hospital from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected.According to the random number method,60 patients with severe pneumonia patients with wind-cold attack lung type were divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 cases in each group.There were no statistically significant differences in gender,age,APACHEⅡscore and general disease status between the two groups(P>0.05).After admission,patients in both groups were given basic western medicine treatment.In addition to basic Western medicine treatment,patients in the treatment group received oral or nasal injection of Dried ephedra decoction for 7consecutive days,while patients in the control group did not use any Traditional Chinese medicine.The differences of PCT,CRP,IL-6,Pa O2/Fi O2,TCM syndrome score,CPIS score,SOFA score,mechanical ventilation time and 28-day mortality were compared between 2 groups before and after treatment.SPSS21.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the above data and the conclusion was drawn.Result1.This study included in wind-cold attack lung type of 60 patients with severe pneumonia,according to the random number method,60 cases of wind-cold attack lung type in patients with severe pneumonia can be divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases each compared between groups,two groups of patients were in gender,age,APACHE Ⅱ score,general state of disease of no statistical significance(P>0.05),comparable between groups.2.Before treatment,there were no significant differences in PCT,CRP,IL-6,Pa O2/Fi O2,TCM syndrome score,CPIS score,SOFA score and APACHEⅡscore between2 groups(P>0.05).3.After treatment,serum PCT,CRP,IL-6,TCM syndrome score,CPIS score and SOFA score were all decreased in the two groups,but the decrease was more obvious in the treatment group(P<0.05),and Pa O2/Fi O2 was increased in both groups,but the increase was more obvious in the treatment group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of mechanical ventilation time: the treatment group was significantly shorter than the control group(P< 0.05).5.28-day mortality: no statistical difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion1.Shegan Mahuang Decoction can significantly reduce serum PCT,CRP,IL-6,TCM syndrome score,CPIS score and SOFA score,improve Pa O2/Fi O2 and reduce mechanical ventilation time in patients with severe pneumonia with wind-cold attack lung type.2.Shegan Mahuang Decoction combined with basic treatment of Western medicine can improve the prognosis of wind-cold attack lung type pneumonia patients.
