Objective:To explore the more effective treatment of primary hemifacial spasm, observe the difference of clinical effect between floating stab method combined with eye-acupuncture and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of primary hemifacial spasm. Methods:Among the patients who came to our hospital, sixty patients with primary hemifacial spasm who met the inclusion criteria of this project were selected. The patients were divided into treatment group according to random number table(floating stab method combined with eye-acupuncture group)and control group(conventional acupuncture method group),with 30 cases in each group. The comparative group received conventional acupuncture therapy(The selection of acupoints for hemifacial spasm in the "13th Five Year Plan" textbook "Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy").In the treatment group, the conventional acupoints were acupuncture with floating st ab method, and then the bilateral liver area, spleen and the upper energizer area and upper focal area were acupuncture with eye-acupuncture.Patients in both groups were treated with acupuncture once a day for 40 minutes, with 1 day of rest per week,2 weeks as a course of treatment, and a total of two courses of treatment. The changes of Cohen intensity grading standard and Penn frequency grading standard before and after treatment were observed and recorded in the two groups.According to the efficacy evaluation standard, the total effective rate of the two groups was compared after statistical analysis to evaluate the difference in efficacy.Result:1.According to the grading standards of Cohen and Penn, after two courses of treatment,The intensity and frequency of hemifacial spasm decreased in both groups, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment methods in both the treatment group and the control group could relieve the intensity and frequency of hemifacial spasm in patients with primary hemifacial spasm;2.After two courses of treatment,The overall efficacy analysis was as follows: the total effective rate in the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 76.67%,the diff erence was statistically significant(P=0.006<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was far better than the control group.Conclusion:1.After the treatment of hemifacial spasm with floating stab method combined with eye-acupuncture and conventional acupuncture, both Cohen’s spastic intensity and Penn’s spastic frequency were reduced;2.Floating stab method combined with eye-acupuncture is better than conventional acupuncture in improving the intensity and frequency of hemifacial spasm.
