| Cyclocarya paliurus(Batal)Iljinsk(Juglandaceae)is the only one plant of Cyclocaryaceae family, which is distributed mainly in the south of China. In the country of south China, the leaves are used as folk medicine for treatment of diabetes, coronary heart disease, neurasthenia and hypertension. It has very high value to be exploited.Using silica gel.column,MCI,Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, and combined with preparative TLC,semi-preparative and preparative HPLC,the 75%EtOH extract of the Cyclocarya paliurus(Batal)Iljinsk leaves was isolated, and finally 40 compounds were obtained. The structures of the compounds were identified by means of 1D(~1H and ~133 C)NMR,2D(HSQC,HMBC,NOESY and TOCSY)NMR,MS,etc..They are cyclocarioside L(1),cyclocarioside M(2),cyclocarioside N(3),cyclocarioside P(4),cyclocarioside Q(5),cyclocarioside R(6),cyclocarioside J(7),cyclocarioside O(8),cyclocarioside I(9),Cyclocarioside H(10),2α,3β,23-trihydroxyurs-12,20(30)-dien-28-oic acidβ-D-glucopyranosyl ester(11),arjung-lucosideⅡ(12),3β,11α,19α,24,30-oentahydroxy-20β,28-epoxy-28β-meth-oxy-ursane(13),borealoside C(14),β-amyrin acetate(15),α-amyrin acetate(16),lupeol acetate(17),β-sitosterol(18),taraxerone(19),betulin(20),acetyl aleuritolic acid(21),2α-hydroxy oleanolic acid(22),tormentic acid(23),apigenin(24),kaempferol(25),quercetin(26),luteolin(27),afzelin(28),myricetin 3-neohesperidoside(29),schizandriside(30),6-O-(E)-feruloyl-β-glucopyranoside(31),4-O-methyl-ceberline acid(32),4-O-methyl-ceberline(33),phydroxy-cinnamic acid(34),caffeic acid(35),(E)-ferulic acid(36),protocatechuic acid(37),vanillic acid(38),dotriacontanoic acid(39),loliolide(40).Compounds 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 were identified as new compounds.Compounds 11,12,13,14,22,and 23 were isolated from the plant for the first time. The anti-inflammatory activities of the isolates from leaves of Cyclocarya paliurus(Batal)Iljinsk were evaluated based on their ability to inhibit NO production in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 macrophage cells. The results showed that compounds 4,5 and 6 had good inhibitory effects on NO in RAW264.7 macrophages induced by LPS. |
