Zinc finger protein is a major transcription factor in plants,which regulates plant growth and development by regulating gene expression.There are many members of this protein family,which can be divided into 9 categories according to the function and sequence of the zinc finger structure: C2H2,C2 HC,C2HC5,C3 H,C3HC4,C4,C4HC3,C6 and C8.In previous studies,we identified a C3H-like zinc finger protein gene Os C3H54 in rice that has four different transcripts,Os C3H54.1,Os C3H54.3,Os C3H54.4,and Os C3H54.6,which are involved in the regulation of rice plant height and heading time,respectively,And different transcripts have different responses to different hormones.In order to further clarify the mechanisms by which different transcripts of Os C3H54 regulate growth and development,this paper found some proteins in other plants that have been reported to interact with C3 H zinc finger proteins in other plants.At the same time,we paid attention to some proteins in the hormone signaling pathway.We used PCR from rice.After amplification of these genes,luciferase complementation experiments and yeast two-hybrid experiments were performed to identify the interaction of these proteins with different transcripts of Os C3H54.The results of luciferase complementation experiments showed that there is a strong interaction between the cleavage factor Os C3H54.3 of the zinc finger protein Os C3H54 and the related proteins Os ERS1,Os ETR2,Os RTH1,Os RTH3,and Os EIL3 in the ethylene signaling pathway;the zinc finger protein Os C3H54 has a strong interaction There is a strong interaction between the cleavage factor Os C3H54.1 and the protein Os ERS1 in the ethylene pathway,and a slightly strong interaction with Os RTH1 and Os RTH3.There may be no interaction between the cleavage factors Os C3H54.6 and Os C3H54.4 of the zinc finger protein Os C3H54 and the proteins in the ethylene pathway.Through the yeast two-hybrid experiment,it was found that the four splicing factors of Os C3H54 all interacted with the ethylene signaling pathway protein Os EIL3.A comparison between them revealed that Os C3H54.4 has a strong interaction with the ethylene signaling pathway protein Os EIL3,and the interaction between Os C3H54.1,Os C3H54.3 and Os C3H54.6 and the ethylene signaling pathway protein Os EIL3 is weak.The results of this paper laid a foundation for analyzing the mechanism of Os C3H54 regulating rice growth and development,and also provided a theoretical basis for further research on other biological functions of Os C3H54.
