Fruit Quality Analysis And Dominant Zone Division Of ’Huizao’ And ’Junzao’ Around Tarim Basin

The rapid development of jujube industry in Xinjiang benefits from the special geographical environment.At present,the planting area and yield of jujube in Xinjiang have leaped to the first place in China.Especially,the area around Tarim Basin has become the dominant area of jujube production in China.However,there are also some problems in the development of jujube,such as disordered development and uneven quality,which seriously affect the market price of jujube in different regions and restrict the efficient and sustainable development of jujube industry.Because the Tarim Basin rim area is the main production area of Xinjiang jujube,and more specifically the major varieties of jujube there are‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’.As a result,the experiment materials used in this study are ‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’ in mature stage from trees of 8-10 years old in different regions around Tarim Basin.The research methods include analysis of variance,correlation analysis and factor analysis.They are employed to analyze the fruit quality indexes of ‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’ in different regions,and the research purposes are as follows.Firstly,the fruit quality characteristics of ‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’ in different regions are studied,for that their quality can be comprehensively evaluated.Secondly,previous researchers have divided the superior regions of jujube in Xinjiang,some based on the comprehensive quality of fruit,and some based on the meteorological data.In this study,the results of the two kinds of division are cross analyzed,and then the superior regions of ‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’ around Tarim Basin can be alternatively divided.Thirdly,the content of soil mineral elements is measured,so as to explore the relationship between soil factors and fruit quality indexes of ‘Huizao’ and ‘Junzao’.The results are as follows.(1)There are obvious differences in the quality indexes of ‘Huizao’ from different regions around the rim of Tarim Basin,and the ‘Huizao ’ of a certain regions shows particular advantages in single quality index.The proportion of main sugar components of ‘Huizao’ in different regions is basically the same,which is sucrose > glucose > fructose,while the proportion of major acid components is significantly different as per different regions.There exists a complicated correlation between soil factors and ‘Huizao’ quality indexes.The main factors that affect fruit quality of jujube in the rim areas of Tarim Basin are P,Mg,Fe,Mn,B,Cu and p H value.(2)The results of comprehensive evaluation on the quality of ‘Huizao’ show that the jujubes in different regions show significant and disparate performance in different common factors.Specifically,the jujubes in eastern and southern regions show better performance in the external factor and the processing factor than those in western and northern regions.The total sugar content and Vc content of ‘Huizao’ in most Eastern and Northern areas are higher than that in the western and southern regions.However,the flavor index of‘Huizao’ in southern area is better than that in other regions.The top three Xinjiang jujube in terms of comprehensive fruit quality are from such regions as the 33 rd regiment of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps,Ruoqiang region and Qiemo region.And the three regions belong to the eastern region.After the cross analysis employed on the four common factors of ‘Huizao’ in different regions,it is found that the ‘Huizao’ from Qiemo region is suitable for both direct consumption and drying process,and the‘Huizao’ from Minfeng and Shaya regions are more suitable for direct consumption.Moreover,the‘Huizao’ from the 33 rd regiment,the 3rd regiment,the 47 th regiment,the 42 rd regiment and the Luofu region are suitable for drying process.Afterwards,the cross-over analysis is conducted on the two types of superior ‘Huizao’ production areas in which the first superior area yields the fruit with high comprehensive quality,and the second superior area is so defined due to previous classification based on meteorological data.The results show that the four major production areas of ‘Huizao’(Ruoqiang,Minfeng,Luopu,Qiemo)are not only suitable for the cultivation and growth of ‘Huizao’,but also the comprehensive quality of local‘Huizao’ is high.(3)The fruit quality of ‘Junzao’ in different areas around the rim of Tarim Basin is different.The highest proportion of main sugar components of the before-mentioned ‘Junzao’ is sucrose,and the lowest is fructose,while the proportion of main acid components varies among different regions.Through the analysis of soil factors and ‘Junzao’ quality,it is noted that the most important factors affecting the fruit quality of ‘Junzao’ are K.Fe,B,Zn,Cl and p H value.(4)The results of factor analysis of fruit quality index of ‘Junzao’ indicate that the ‘Junzao’ in eastern and southern regions show better performance in the external factor than those in western and northern regions.More specifically,the content of protein and total flavonoids of ‘Junzao’ from the western and southern regions is higher than that from the eastern and northern regions,but the sugar-acid ratio is lower than that from the eastern and northern regions.The total sugar and acid content of jujube in the south region are higher than that in other regions,which indicates that jujubes in different regions possess particular advantages in the indicators contained by different common factors.The comprehensive analysis shows that the quality of ‘Junzao’ in southern region is overall higher than that in other regions.Through the cross analysis of the scores of jun-jujube on each common factor in different production areas,it is found that jun-jujube from the 47 th regiment,the 29 th regiment and the 224 th regiment are more suitable for dry processing.The jun-jujubes from the 3rd regiment,Minfeng region and Luopu region are more suitable for advanced processing.However,the jun-jujube from the 12 th regiment,the 33 rd regiment,Yutian region and Pishan region are more suitable for direct consumption.Afterwards,the cross-over analysis is conducted on previous classification of superior jujube production area based on meteorological data and the result shows that it’s not only suitable for the growth of ‘Junzao’ in the 224 th region,the 47 th region and Yutian region,but a higher fruit quality is also seen in the before-mentioned areas than in other areas.
