Potassium(K)is one of the important phytonutrients that promote the improvement of crop yield and quality.However,excessive application of various potash fertilizers will lead to a decline in food quality and yield,which will lead to economic losses and food safety issues.In this experiment,in order to explore the effects of different amounts and types of potassium fertilizers on garlic yield,quality and nutrient utilization,two types of potassium fertilizers,potassium chloride and potassium sulfate,were used,and different levels of potassium chloride were tested,and the ratio of potassium sulfate and potassium chloride was set.test.The experimental treatments at different levels of potassium chloride are 0 kg·hm-2,75 kg·hm-2,150 kg·hm-2,225 kg·hm-2,375 kg·hm-2;The comparative test treatments are potassium chloride 225 kg·hm-2,potassium sulfate 225 kg·hm-2,potassium sulfate:potassium chloride=1:3(225 kg·hm-2),potassium sulfate:potassium chloride=2:2(225 kg·hm-2),potassium sulfate:potassium chloride=3:1(225 kg·hm-2);namely K0,K75(Cl),K150(Cl),K225(Cl),K375(Cl),K225(S),S:Cl=1:3,S:Cl=2:2,S:Cl=3:1.This experiment measures and analyzes garlic’s agronomic traits,physiological morphology,yield,nutritional quality,mineral nutrient content,economic benefits and other indicators to clarify the effect of different potassium fertilizers on the growth and development of garlic to determine potassium chloride It is recommended that the economical and optimal potassium fertilizer dosage is suitable for the suitable application range;compare the application effects of two common potassium fertilizers(KCl and K2SO4)on garlic to determine the potassium addition amount and the best ratio of potassium fertilizer in the garlic special fertilizer.The fertilizer formula design provides a scientific basis to promote the green development of garlic production for weight loss and efficiency.The main research results are as follows:(1)In terms of garlic agronomic characteristics and physiological morphology,reasonable increase of potassium fertilizer can help promote garlic plant height growth,increase the number of green leaves,increase leaf area,increase green leaf coverage,increase canopy NDVI index,and promote garlic bulb expansion.Contribute to the accumulation of dry matter in garlic plants;the economically optimal amount of potassiim fertilizer is 225 kg·hm-2.Under the optimal amount of potassium fertilizer,the effect of single application of potassium sulfate is better than potassium chloride,and when potassium sulfate and potassium chloride are 3:1,it can promote the improvement of various agronomic traits and physiological indicators.Excessive potassium fertilizer leads to a decline in the performance of various traits.(2)In terms of garlic yield and quality,rational application of potassium fertilizer can increase garlic yield and improve garlic appearance and nutritional quality.When the potassium fertilizer dosage is 225 kg·hm-2,garlic has the highest yield and quality(Vc,soluble sugar,soluble protein and allicin),and reduces the accumulation of nitrate.At the same time,under the appropriate amount of potassium fertilizer,when potassium sulfate:potassium chloride=3:1,it can better increase the yield of garlic and improve the quality of garlic.Excessive potassium chloride fertilizer will reduce yield,obvious traits and nutritional quality.Compared with potassium chloride fertilizer,potassium sulfate alone can only increase the yield of garlic bulbs by 0.1%to 22.5%,and the effect of increasing the yield is not always obvious.Compared with the K225(Cl)treatment,the combined application of potassium sulfate and potassium chloride increased the average garlic yield by 8.7%-19.4%,the diameter of garlic increased by 4.9%-11.3%,and the number of garlic cloves increased by 5.3%-30.7%.Excessive amount of potassium fertilizer will reduce yield and nutritional quality.(3)In terms of garlic nutrient absorption and utilization,reasonable application of potassium fertilizer helps to promote better nutrient absorption and utilization of garlic.Excessive application of potassium fertilizer will reduce the nutrient absorption of garlic.This study shows that when the amount of potassium fertilizer is 225 kg·hm-2,the cumulative nutrient absorption of garlic is the largest,the nutrient transport of garlic is the largest,and the absorption of medium and trace elements is better.Under the appropriate amount of potassium fertilizer,the effect of single application of potassium sulfate is better than that of potassium chloride,and when potassium sulfate and potassium chloride are 3:1,it can better promote the absorption and utilization of garlic nutrients and weaken the difference between the ions.Antagonistic effect,better promote the growth and development of garlic.(4)In terms of garlic economic benefits,when the potassium fertilizer dosage in this study is 225 kg·hm-2,when K2SO4:KCl=3:1,the best economic benefits can be obtained.Therefore,when considering the market price of potassium fertilizer,garlic sprouts and bulbs,we recommend a potassium fertilizer dosage(K2O)of 252.5 kg·hm-2,of which K2SO4 accounts for 61.6%.
