The rapid economic development has led to the entry of cars into thousands of households,and the demand for parking spaces is increasing day by day.Traditional selfpropelled parking spaces can no longer meet the intensity of demand for parking spaces,therefore,this paper proposes a new type of vertical lift stereo garage based on PLC control and designs a fully functional,safe and reliable electrical control system.The main research work of the paper is as follows.Firstly,based on the garage mechanical structure design scheme,the garage function is analysed,its control system structure composition is determined and the PLC-based technology scheme and the control mode of master and slave PLC + distributed IO are briefly described to finally determine the garage access task flow and specific functional requirements.The garage hardware design is then carried out.A selection analysis of the master and slave PLCs and their functional modules is carried out,followed by the composition and distribution of the actuator signal detection elements and the theoretical calculation and selection of the main actuator motors and their control inverters.Based on the hardware detection and the number of actuator units,the number of I/O points of the master and slave stations of the system is determined.According to the control requirements of each actuator,the electrical schematic of the system is designed.Finally the hardware communication configuration work is carried out for each electrical device based on the Profinet communication protocol to provide configuration environment support for subsequent lower computer program writing.The next step is to design the control system software.For the lower unit master and slave PLCs,the program design is based on PROTAL V14 software using the LAD language.The structure and function of the lower computer program is analysed and detailed descriptions are made for some of the functional programs.The HMI humanmachine interface is designed based on V14 for semi-automatic commissioning of the equipment at a later stage.For the upper computer,the system database is designed based on My SQL for user vehicle information,alarm information and system operation.Using C# language to develop the upper computer client software,mainly introduced the upper and lower computer communication method based on S7.NET class library.Finally,the upper computer software interface is designed based on the WPF framework and the operating procedure for using the software is introduced.To address the problem of poor access efficiency of garages due to structural defects,the mathematical model of garage access is established with the minimisation of access time as the optimisation objective and the in-situ standby strategy as the garage access strategy.The access task queue is simulated and analysed on Matlab platform based on genetic algorithm.The analysis results show that the efficiency of accessing the cars after the optimisation has basically increased by about 8% at different times,which verifies the correctness of the model and the effectiveness of the algorithm.Finally,the application scenarios of the algorithm are discussed in relation to the actual situation of garages in the market.Finally,the electrical hardware installation and the software and hardware commissioning phases of the garage are explained.Details of some of the hardware installation and considerations are presented.The hardware commissioning details and the problems that arise are analysed.For software commissioning,the process and methods of manual and automatic commissioning of the lower computer are presented.Finally,the debugging method of the upper computer based on database information and locating faults are introduced.
