Practice And Exploration Of Modern Timber Structure Building In Cold Region

For China,wood is an ancient building material.However,due to the limited technology at that time,the natural physical defects of the material made it limited in the construction of buildings,so it was gradually replaced by other building materials.At home and abroad in recent years,the advocacy of green building in our country,timber-framed building technology rapid development,also the defects of material itself has been improved significantly through modern technology means,low cost,convenient materials and wood,good seismic performance,heat preservation performance is good,and a series of increasingly obvious advantages,timber-framed building a hot point of the present design.In this paper,modern timber-framed building as the research object,on the basis of sorting out the types and characteristics of materials,construction methods and characteristics,aesthetic characteristics and technical characteristics,summed up the material and structure of the two aspects of the construction strategy,and through the actual case and project design,the proposed strategy for practice.The author firstly discusses the research background and research category,and puts forward the research method and research framework of this paper by analyzing the current situation of modern timber-framed building at home and abroad.The second chapter states the types and characteristics of modern timber construction materials and construction,and analyzes the respective aesthetic and technical characteristics of materials and joints,which lays a theoretical foundation for the third chapter’s construction strategy.The third chapter on the basis of the previous chapter,the design methods of modern timber-framed building and building strategy study,through excellent architectural cases at home and abroad,summarizes the two aspects of the construction strategy,including the construction of modern timber-framed building materials strategy and the construction of structure,for the fourth chapter provides the theory basis for practice.Finally,the applicability of modern timber-framed building in the cold region is analyzed and the application potential of modern timber-framed building in the cold region is verified.The fourth chapter is the design chapter,including two building projects.First of all,to Changchun national fitness activities center the cold modern timber-framed building renovation project were studied,through the project background,site profile,analysis of the single building,etc.That extracting the material performance and the nodes on the construction project in the construction of strategy,further verifies the design method of modern timber-framed building proposed in this paper.Secondly,the construction strategy of this paper is used to design a modern timber-framed building scheme for a cold area,and the practice of the construction strategy is completed.The aesthetic and technical characteristics of the scheme are highly consistent with the region and culture of the site.Finally,the author looks forward to the development of modern timber-framed building in cold areas.
