Cable stayed bridge is one of the main types of modern long-span bridges.As the lifeline of cable-stayed bridge,stay cable is one of the most critical load-bearing components,and it is also the most vulnerable component of cable-stayed bridge structure.In the operation stage,it is easy to be damaged by various environmental factors or accidents,endangering the service safety of the bridge.Therefore,it is very important to explore the influence of stay cable damage on the overall structural performance of cable-stayed bridge.In order to understand the health status of this kind of bridge structure,it is necessary to systematically study the damage of cable components and the impact on the whole structure after breaking.In this paper,a single tower prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge is taken as the engineering background,and the corrosion damage of stay cables,the dynamic characteristics and static characteristics of the whole bridge after cable breakage due to accidental ultimate load are studied respectively.The specific work is as follows:(1)This paper briefly introduces the development trend of cable-stayed bridge and the structural characteristics of cable-stayed bridge,counts some typical cases of cable corrosion damage of cable-stayed bridge,and puts forward the influence of cable damage on bridge structural performance.(2)This paper analyzes the main causes of cable damage.This paper mainly introduces the classification and composition of cables,and summarizes the ways and classification of cable damage.And the causes of each kind of disease are analyzed in detail,including the main vibration forms that cause manufacturing construction errors,environmental corrosion and damage.(3)The influence of cable damage on static and dynamic performance of cable-stayed bridge is analyzed.The finite element model of the bridge is established and the elastic modulus is selected as the damage variable to simulate the damage of stay cables.The changes of dynamic and static characteristics of stay cables at different positions under the same damage degree and different cable elements are analyzed and summarized.(4)Through ANSYS modeling,the radial and fan-shaped cable layout is compared and analyzed,and the cable damage is simulated in a variety of common situations.The mechanical properties of radial and fan-shaped single tower cable-stayed bridges under various cable damage conditions are compared and analyzed,and the rules are summarized,which is helpful for evaluating the safety,applicability and durability of cable-stayed bridges It provides the basis and guidance for the operation management and maintenance of the bridge.
