Because of the advantages of automatic drilling-riveting system in processing qua lity and production efficiency,it has been widely used in many countries.Compared with the advanced level of foreign countries,domestic research of related technologies started late,and the practical application experience is lack of accumulation,there is a certain gap in the development of automatic drilling-riveting system.With more and more demands for production and assembly of domestic aerospace products,it is urgent to improve the reliability and maturity of automatic drilling and riveting equipment from the design stage.The main research work is as follows:(1)Considering the specific drilling and riveting tasks,the machining requirements of the automatic drilling and riveting system are analyzed in detail,the overall layout and hardware composition of the system are introduced,and the system assembly process flow and the specific working steps of the end effector are planned.(2)A scheme design and evaluation method considering the optimization objective is proposed.The hardware composition of the system and the detailed structure of the end effector are designed and evaluated.The effectiveness of the method is verified by comparied with other end effector structures.(3)The static analysis of the key parts of the end effector is carried out by using the finite element simulation analysis software,and the lightweight design of the structure is completed.Combined with both the experimental mode and the theoretical mode,the dynamic characteristics of the end effector are studied,and a reliable finite element model is established.The dynamic simulation orthogona l test is carried out by changing Abaqus script in Python.The sensitivity analysis of the structural design parameters of the end effector is realized,and the optimization direction is suggested.(4)An end effector used in the automatic drilling and riveting composite machining system is manufactured.A machining test platform is built to test the performance of key parts of the end effector,and a series of drilling and riveting tests are carried out.The test results show that the end effector in this paper can achieve the predetermined processing funct ion,ensure the quality of drilling and riveting processing,and meet the processing efficiency requirements of the automatic drilling and riveting system.
