| Recently,owing to the rapid improvement of our country’s aggregate national strength and ever-growing material needs of the people,the topic of development of chemical industry,as a basic industry of the national economy,has received considerable attention for a wide range of applications in food,texture,housing,and transportation industries.Chemical products are widely used in our daily life,and the development of chemical industry is closely linked with social and economic development.From various food additives to soap,hand sanitizer,cosmetics,pharmaceutical preparations,synthetic rubber,clothing fiber,glass,plastic and so on,the development of all walks of life cannot be separated from the basic support of the chemical industry.Thus,enhancing the development of chemical industry plays a vital role in the national economic growth.Since the last century,our country has attached great importance to improvement of the secondary industry,especially in the development of manufacturing industry,which makes the chemistry industry increasing markedly.However,due to the backward development of chemistry industry such as lagging behind the development,immature business model as well as small business scales,there still exists a large gap between the foreign mature enterprises and Chinese chemical enterprises.Moreover,in the process of enterprise development,the inefficiency of performance appraisal system,an important part of enterprise management,could greatly limit the enterprise development.Therefore,in order to help enterprises better developed,it is essential to optimize the performance appraisal system.Take the Y chemical company,which was founded in 1946,an international leading professional company specializing in food preservative,freshness preservation and oxidation resistance.It has gone through many historical periods,such as state-owned enterprise,restructured enterprise and private enterprise,and it represented in the application of performance appraisal in chemical enterprises in China.Therefore,in the present work,firstly,the study focus on Y Chemical Company as an example to optimize its employee performance appraisal system in the chemical industry and explore the role of the performance appraisal system in the process of enterprise development.Moreover,this paper describe the background of Y Chemical Company and the history of the development of the company’ s performance appraisal system.According to the results of questionnaire survey,we analyzes the shortcomings in the development process of the company,pointing out the problems and causes of the performance appraisal system of Y Chemical Company.And then,the principle and basic rules of the performance appraisal system optimization has been given in the paper.Based on the overall grasp of the company’ s development strategy,the balanced scorecard has been applied into optimizing the design of the performance appraisal system of company.Consequently,this paper also optimized performance evaluation system from the financial dimension,customer dimension,internal operation dimension,learning and growth dimension,especially social responsibility dimension aspect to find out the key points of enterprise development and design key indicators.Finally,the suggestions for the implementation of the optimization design are put forward to ensure its feasibility. |
