A Research On The Ukiyo-e Pattern In Modern Women’s Clothing Design

Ukiyo-e,as a unique form of Japanese painting,has brought a lot of shock to the world.Throughout the nearly 400 years of the development of Ukiyo-e,unlike many traditional crafts and traditional cultures,which have slowly passed and lost,the development and influence of Ukiyo-e have been evolving over the years,advancing with the times.For many industries,such as Fashion,clothing,design,entertainment,etc.have had a profound impact,making Chinese and foreign artists linger on her.The reasons for this are worth exploring in depth.China has a long history and rich cultural traditions and skills.Ukiyo-e,as a Japanese national art,is inextricably linked with traditional Chinese folk art.This topic attempts to analyze and deconstruct the development of Ukiyo-e from different perspectives and starting points.,Influence and dissemination,focusing on its future impact and application in the field of women’s clothing.At the same time,I look forward to contacting by category to promote the further inheritance and development of traditional Chinese culture and art in various fields,especially the application and development of women’s clothing.This is my next research goal.After the topic was determined,the author explored the historical background and artistic origin of Ukiyo-e by consulting the literature,research and analysis methods,and trial production of samples.He combed the three stages of Ukiyo-e’s development: first,from the mid-17 th century to the mid-18 th century.In the early stages of development,the early Ukiyo-e paintings were drawn on paper scrolls and barriers,and they were called "meat paintings";later they were exhibited and printed with woodblock engraving,which became "Ukiyo-e prints".Early representative figures of Ukiyo-e;then from the late 18 th century to the early 19 th century of the golden age,"red painting","lacquer painting","red folding painting",and "golden painting" gradually brought the ukiyo-e culture into the golden age;Finally,the decline of Ukiyo-e from the middle of the 19 th century to the end of the 19 th century,with the end of the Shogunate era,Ukiyo-e also declined.Combining the ukiyo-e production process(drawing the original picture,sculpting ink plate,selected color,sculpting swatches,and brushing),and then summing up the two aspects of the theme content of the ukiyo-e pattern and the aesthetic expression of the ukiyo-e pattern The artistic features of the Ukiyo-e pattern.After fully understanding the expression of Ukiyo-e,the author turned to the influence of Ukiyo-e on modern clothing and the development trend of Ukiyo-e patterns in modern clothing design,and proposed three innovative ideas of Ukiyo-e patterns in modern clothing design: patterns Creative use of materials,creative use of lines and patterns,creative use of color.Finally,combined with the application of traditional patterns in modern clothing design,the use of pattern extraction,pattern innovation method to create the effect map,the finished product map,and explore the application expression of Ukiyo-e pattern in modern women’s clothing design.I hope that through the research on this topic,I can find the meeting point of the Ukiyo-e pattern and the design concept of modern women’s clothing,and find an innovative point that combines traditional craftsmanship and fashion design,adding benefits to the application of traditional Ukiyo-e pattern in clothing design.Reference value and design concept.
