| Zinc oxide (ZnO) is a material that belongs to the family of Transparent Conductive Oxides (TCO). This thesis work studies in detail the testing of ZnO nanowires which were already prepared using anodic aluminum dioxide. The samples are characterized accordingly at different temperatures, times and pressures. The analysis of the samples is done using different techniques like SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy), XRD (X-ray Diffraction) and Raman Spectroscopy. If the nanowires are clearly seen then they are doped with dopants like B, Ga,Pb,Sn etc. Then the doped ZnO nanowires are fabricated to design a device. If the nanowires are not observed clearly then the process of fabrication is repeated with changes in different conditions and parameters and then the samples are characterized and analyzed to form clear nanowires. If the nanowires are not fabricated rightly the whole process is repeated again. |
