To some extent,the development of modern agricultural industrial parks depend on the input of funds.According to sources and uses of funds,the input can be divided into two categories:government investment and operating entity input.The former is mainly used for infrastructure and service platform construction(infrastructure investment called in this paper);the latter is mainly used for production and management.(productive input called in this paper).With the continuous increase in financial input at all levels,the construction of infrastructure and public service platforms in modern agricultural industrial parks(including core areas,demonstration areas,and radiation areas)has been increasingly perfected,and the productive input of its operating entities has become the main driving force for further development,and the key factor for sustainability is the investment benefits of the operating entity.According to the thought of modern system science,the modern agricultural industrial park is a complex adaptive system(CAS)with multiple subjects interacting with the environment.In such a system,the relationship between its output function(benefit)and its input is generally non-linear,that is,the system’s input scale is not as large as possible,but there is a modest scale.The classical economic theory also regards the modest scale of production input as an important means to promote maximum returns.Therefore,exploring the modest scale of productive investment in modern agricultural industrial parks not only has practical value,but also has theoretical significance.Based on the theory of complex adaptive systems and the theory of economies of scale,the Agricultural Production Decision Model(APDM)is constructed in this paper,which takes family farm as production decision unit,and uses the agricultural resources(such as land,labor,water resources,funds)and mission objectives as constraints,and maximize the interests of the park’s operating entities.APDM attempts to characterize the logical relationship between the productive investment benefits of a modern agricultural industrial park and its operating environment.Taking APDM as the core module,the analysis framework for moderate input in agriculture production was further constructed.By applying this framework,it is possible to easily simulate the impact of supply conditions such as land and labor on the modest scale of productive input,and measure the appropriate input scale for agriculture production in a given environment.Applying the above model and analysis framework,this paper optimizes the agricultural production structure of the Dongtai Sancang modern agricultural industrial park located in the Yancheng area of northern Jiangsu,and simulates the modest scale of their productive input.The results show that:After simulation optimization,Land productivity(average income per mu)increased by 6%,labor productivity(average labor income)increased by 2 times,and cost benefit ratio increased by 1.3 times.The total land area of the industrial park is 50,000 mu,which is the most appropriate(consistent with the status quo).The appropriate scale of productive input is about 225 million yuan,and the appropriate input intensity is 4,500 yuan/mu.The research in this paper shows that:(1)The agricultural production decision model APDM based on family farms constructed in this paper can be used to optimize the main composition of modern agricultural industrial parks and their production strategies.(2)APDM with linear characteristics can be used to simulate nonlinear relationships among research objects;the relationship between the modest scale of productive input in modern agricultural industrial parks and the income is a non-linear relationship.(3)The modest scale of productive input in modern agricultural industrial parks has a lot to do with the industry type in the park,total land supply,labor resources,water resources,hard production requirements,and financing costs for productive input.Currently,with regard to modern agricultural industrial parks featuring horticultural crop cultivation in northern Jiangsu,the main factors affecting the modest scale of productive input are the land area of the park and the financing costs of productive input.
