Qinghai Road In Song Dynasty

Qinghai Road refers to the road that passes through the ancient Qiang people’s residential area in Qinghai to the Western Regions,which is an organic part of the Silk Road.In some historical periods,its status is not lower than that of the Hexi Corridor.It has had an important impact on Northwest traffic and even on Sino-Western traffic.Based on the previous studies,this paper will further analyze the development history of Qinghai Road and the role of Qinghai Road in the Song Dynasty.This article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly organizes the academic research results of Qinghai Road and the Chio-ssu-lo government.Through the review of academic history,we can fully understand the research status of this topic,and explain the space and possibility of further research.The second part is the history of the rise and fall of Qinghai Road before the Song Dynasty,the evolution of Qinghai from the Han Dynasty to the Sui and Tang Dynasties.By combing the development history of Qinghai Road,the changes and developments experienced by Qinghai will be explored.And the means of big data and other means will be used to present the route of Qinghai Road in different historical periods.The third part is the establishment of the Chio-ssu-lo government and the rejuvenation of Qinghai Road.The process of the prosperity of Qinghai in the Northern Song Dynasty will be discussed while analyzing the development of the Chio-ssu-lo government and its relations with foreign countries.And the specific route of Qinghai Road in this period will also be explored.The fourth part is the historical role of Qinghai Road in the Song Dynasty.The functions of Qinghai Road will be discussed mainly from three aspects:politics,economy and culture.The impacts of Qinghai Road in the Song Dynasty on Chio-ssu-lo government,the Northern Song Dynasty and other regimes will be analyzed.
