Alberto Ginastera was an Argentine composer of Neo-Nationalism music in 20 th century.He integrated the various elements of the Argentine nation into his creations.He is considered one of the most important 20th-century classical composers of the Americas.His works combines Argentinian folk music language with modern composing techniques of the 20 th century,forming a unique and personal musical style.His compositions also significantly contributed to the development of Argentina’s musical culture,gradually making Argentinian music unique among that of the Americas.Ginastera’s influence can clearly been seen in the national music of Argentina to this day.This article focuses on the first piano work “Danzas argentinas” created by Ginastera in his early days.This is a piano masterpiece widely circulated by the composer and represents the passionate national character of Argentina.The author focuses on the characteristics of its attractive music,and starts the research with traditional musical structure,national folk musical elements and modern creative features at first.It discovers the ingenious fusion of the three,and naturally reveals the works in aesthetic terms.The research value combined with the author’s performance experience from an aesthetic point of view puts forward the aesthetic characteristics,the difficulty in the performance resulted in the discussion of the interpretation of the performance.Based on the research of the author’s predecessors,the author tries to excavate more aesthetic feelings from Argentine folk music,hoping to inject fresh vitality into the works while also providing some benefit to music learners who show interest in Ginastera’s work.The author’s aim is to help others better understand and play the work.
