Research On The Space Landscape Design Of Urban Industrial Heritage

With the revival of the city,traditional industries have declined because of social transformation.And industrial heritage in the city appeared and was destroyed on a large scale.Thus the research on protection and reuse of industrial heritage has become one of the most important issues to be solved on the present.This article is divided into four main parts:First,it discusses theoretically the concepts of urban industrial heritage landscape space design,design theory and the current development situation respectively.Also,the first part defines the research scope,summarizes the current trend of urban industrial heritage landscape space design.Second,this article analyzes the urban industrial heritage landscape space design,including the principles,patterns and methods about designing industrial heritage landscape space,clarifying them one by one in detail.Then this article chooses a representative city-Suzhou as the research object.This article has adopted field study,space syntax and other research methods,researching from three aspects including the spatial analysis of industrial heritage landscape,spatial form analysis and current situations of landscape space design,and summarizing the design strategy of urban industrial heritage landscape space.Eventually this article brings those theories above to be applied to real case-Suzhou HuShuGuan Su Steel Factory,combining theory with practice,meanwhile validating the rationality of the theory,therefore further illustrates the ideas and characteristics of urban industrial heritage landscape space design.The landscape space design of urban industrial heritage is different from that of ordinary urban public space,it is one of the important expression forms of urban characteristics.A good industrial heritage landscape space is able to record and display the industrial development of the city,which plays a continuation role in urban space and strengthens the effect of urban characteristics.
