With the development of infrared technology and its wide application in related fields,the design and development of infrared imaging system has been paid more and more attention.At the same time,the advancement of device technology and the continuous improvement of demands put forward higher requirements for its design and development.The traditional design and development ideas based on physical prototype have long cycle times and high costs,gradually fail to meet the needs of standardized,generalized,and rapid engineering design.Therefore,relying on infrared imaging theory and computer simulate technology,this paper is committed to constructing a real and reliable digital performance prototype platform to provide reference for imaging system engineering design and parameter optimization,and shorten the development cycle of imaging system.The main work completed in the paper are as follows: Firstly,the concept and application of the commonly used engineering design indicators of infrared imaging system are analyzed,summarized the imaging system engineering design process and proposes the functional requirements of the digital performance prototype platform for the rapid engineering design of sensor module,and according to the needs of digital performance prototype,the working principle of digital performance prototype are introduced.Secondly,according to the requirements of the digital performance prototype platform,the transmission and conversion mechanism of the infrared radiation signals of each module in the whole imaging link are studied.From the engineering point of view,based on the continuous input/discrete processing/continuous output analysis model,the engineering simulation model of infrared imaging system based on signal level is established.Among them,the target background radiation modeling part proposes the target background radiation characteristic fusion scheme based on the measured data;and the optical system part establishes an engineering simulation model based on the image quality data of ZEMAX,a professional design tool,realizes the data interconnection of the professional design tool ZEMAX and the modeling and simulation platform for the first time.In addition to considering the signal transmission characteristics,spatial and noise characteristics,the detector modeling part constructs an accurate sampling model based on pixel correspondence.Then,according to the engineering design indicators and the established engineering simulation model,the digital performance platform of infrared imaging system is designed and implemented on the Windows7 64-bit system by using C++ language.Finally,in order to verify the practicability of the digital performance prototype,the overall technical indicators of the infrared imaging system were drawn up.Considering the parameter matching between each module,the appropriate detector pieces were selected and the corresponding optical system was designed,and the design parameters were obtained.With the help of the digital performance prototype platform built in this paper,the physical effects of each module in the imaging link are simulated,and the credibility of the simulation is analyzed.Combined with the estimated range of the MRTD experiment,the detection and recognition performance of the system is comprehensively evaluated.After the comparison of the technical indicators,the direction for the modification of the design parameters is indicated.The digital performance prototype platform of infrared imaging system built in this paper can be applied to image simulation and performance parameter calculation under the sensor module design parameters of infrared imaging system.The comprehensive performance of the system can be evaluated according to the simulation and analysis results,which can specify the direction for subsequent parameter optimization and shorten the system development cycle,it is of great significance to the engineering design of infrared imaging system.
