At present,China is in a period of social transformation.This is not only a critical period for economic development,but also a period of prominent social contradictions.Especially with the continuous innovation of Internet technology and the advent of the Internet from the media era,online public events have become more and more frequent situation.Especially in the face of negative public events,people's emotions are in an anxious,nervous,angry,insecure state,and are vented through the free and open platform of the Internet.The negative emotions of netizens have evolved into violent behaviors under the network infection of the network,causing great negative impacts and security risks to the society.As a bridge between the government and the public,the media's function of facilitating the extension of traditional functions is particularly important.The negative feedback of netizens has become one of the social responsibilities of the media.How to maximize the media in an environment where opportunities and challenges coexist.Grooming function has become an important issue in the new era.The media guidance function is well played,which helps to rationalize social emotions,resolve the crisis,and maintain social harmony and stability.If the media guidance function is not well played,it will become the driving force of negative emotions in the society and promote the further fermentation of the crisis.Therefore,it is especially important to grasp the media's ability to guide the negative emotions of netizens.This paper starts from the negative emotions of netizens in the public events of the Internet,and deeply interprets the connotation of network public events and negative emotions of netizens,and the generation and expression of negative emotions of netizens in online public events.From the perspective of media roles and media functions,the authors demonstrate that mainstream media in online public events have an impact on the evolution of netizens'negative emotions.Then,this paper selects the"longevity vaccine fraud incident" as a specific case.Through the semantic analysis and quantitative statistics of the netizens' comments on the people's daily report,the author analyzes the evolution of netizens' negative emotions,so as to study the mainstream media influence of the People's Daily.The micro-factors of negative emotions of netizens and how these micro-factors have affected the negative emotions of netizens.The study found that in the period of negative emotional outbreak of netizens,the appropriate topic setting of mainstream media has a certain positive effect on the negative emotions of netizens;the biased comments of mainstream media have obvious negative effects on netizens' negative emotions;The negative emotions of netizens have awakening effect;the continued follow-up of the follow-up development of the mainstream media is not conducive to the recovery of negative emotions of netizens.On this basis,this paper puts forward the strategy of mainstream media to negative emotions of netizens in the public events of the network:in terms of the timing of reporting,we must seize the opportunity of public opinion in the early stage of the event development,increase the intensity of reporting in the middle of the event development,and skillfully grasp the follow-up reports in the later stage of the event development;in the setting of issues,we must determine the dominant issues and grasp the reporting issues.The diversity and focus on the presentation of the topic;in the emotional control,to improve the ability to distinguish negative emotions,establish an emotional monitoring and early warning system.
