Since the Industrial Revolution,the social productivity has burst in exponential form,but our environment pay much sacrifice for this increasing,nowadays the deteriorating ecological environment has been threatening the survival of human.On the other hand,with the raising of quality of life,people pay much more attention on medical health,and are deeply concerned about environment pollution,food safety,disease prevention and other issues.Hence,the development of biosensors has been a focus for people's health,we need biosensors with high performance,low cost and easy operation,to protect the health of the people and the sustainable development of the society.This text pay the focus attention on the research of biosensors based on microring resonator,aimed at designing biosensors with large measurement range,high sensitivity,high biocompatibility.Firstly this text introduced the fundamental theory of the ring resonator,calculated the spectrum of the ring resonator by the transfer matrix method,and the princple of the sensors based on ring resonator was described briefly.Then focused on ring resonator,we designed the waveguide sensor with a large measurement range based on the polarization multiplex.By the polarization multiplex we enlarged the measurement range of around 2 times,with no influence on the sensitivity of the microring sensors.And then we calculated the suspended waveguide and upper-flat waveguide working by the method of polarization by simulation,the result shows they can further enlarged the measurement range.We designed the cascaded double-ring biosensors based on silicon oxynitride working at 850nm band.Because of the low loss,working at 350nm-2000nm band,adjustable refractive index,low thermos-optical and other advantage,SiON is much more suitable for sensing.In addition 850nm band own higher transmissivity for bibtic tissues,and Vernier Effect in cascaded double-ring made this sensor perform much well compared to other waveguide sensors.
