Wireless sensor networks are known as technologies that change the future.Wireless sensor networks use a combination of low-cost and low-performance nodes to form a wireless network.Through the cooperation between nodes,a single node can not achieve the effect.Wireless sensor network has developed rapidly in recent decades,but due to the slow development of battery technology,the energy issue has been restricting the development of wireless sensor networks.To solve this problem,scholars have proposed many solutions.The LEACH protocol is one of them.The basic idea of the LEACH protocol is to select several cluster head nodes as information relay stations and data fusion centers at the same time by layering and clustering.At the same time,the method of polling selection is adopted so that all nodes participate in the selection of cluster heads.Maintains the energy level of all nodes in a relatively balanced state,thereby giving all nodes a relatively balanced life.The LEACH protocol is simple in design,but with subtle ideas,it has received extensive attention in the industry.At the same time,because LEACH is only a model on the road,there is still a certain gap from the actual application.The author of this article reads the domestic and foreign literature,and carries on the comprehensive analysis to the existing several LEACH improvement agreements,carries on the goal improvement according to the deficiency of the existing agreement.The author applies the SMA algorithm to the improvement of the LEACH protocol and proposes the SLEACH protocol.Firstly,the LEACH cluster head selection mechanism is improved,and the energy and the distance from the convergence node are taken into consideration.The most suitable node is selected as the cluster head to extend the overall life span.In addition,when the energy level of the entire network decreases,the network can be further decomposed according to the structure of the existing cluster,thereby shortening the communication distance and reducing the energy consumption.This paper selects the original LEACH protocol and the improved LEACH-C protocol,compares it with SLEACH,and simulates using NS-3 simulation environment.From the point of view of the remaining energy distribution of the node's life cycle,etc.,experiments have shown that the SLEACH improvement effect is obvious.
