Nowadays,the development of communication technology plays an important role in people's life and production.The broadband power amplifier matching network,as an important part of broadband power amplifier,has a direct impact on the effective power transmitted by the signal source to the antenna,so it is very important to study and summarize its method of design.The article firstly introduces and analyzes three kinds of traditional broadband matching design method:smith chart method,the real frequency method and the classical intelligent search algorithm-annealing method,after comparing the advantages and disadvantages of each kind of design method,this article puts forward a hierarchical improved genetic algorithm,The method is based on the traditional genetic algorithm and combines the RF circuit design experience to optimize the search efficiency.The first improvement point is that given to the possibility of local convergence of genetic algorithm,stratifying the searching space of the element parameters,thereby reducing the occurrence of premature;the second improvement point is that combining the design experience in the field of radio frequency,evaluating and correcting the circuit structure and parameters generated by the genetic algorithm,and adding the reasonable structure and parameters in the initial population,which could improve the accuracy of operating results and search efficiency.Matlab simulation results show that the running time of improved hierarchical genetic algorithm is less than 100s,with MW6S004N power MOSFET as the test model,transducer power gain within 1GHz bandwidth can reach more than 70%,two indicators are better than the indicators of existing algorithm.The article chooses the YP3236W power amplifier chip of INNOTION company as the actual verification model,completes the design of broadband impedance matching network,gives the experimental data,the performance can achieve the design requirements and indicators,the research results have certain practical engineering value for the design of broadband impedance matching network.
