Research On The Guidance System Of College Students’ Career Planning In Private College

Career planning guidance of college students is an important part of talent training system in private college.With the growing number of people receiving higher education,the quantity of college graduates also increases per annum.career planning therefore becomes more and more important in the current severe employment situation.At present,Chinese private college students are indifferent to career planning.The career planning guidance system in Chinese private colleges is loose and inefficient.Accordingly,private college students should clarify their career choice and direction of development by paying more attention to the career planning.Private colleges should establish a career planning guidance system with a process of standardization and wide coverage,at the same time,fitting the resources of the government and all sectors of society,thus advancing the effectiveness of career planning guidance and perfecting the function of service and education.Based on the above background,guided by career planning theories,and embarked from reality,this paper is aimed at researching and exploring the construction of career planning system around the current situation and existing problems in Taihu University of Wuxi,and then find out the reasons of current situation.Combined with the experience of American college students’ careerplanning guidance system construction,this paper also researches and explores the construction of career planning guidance system in private college in the way of institutions,curriculum construction,teachers’ construction,career planning consulting and measurement system construction,outside-school practice base construction,information service system construction and orientation of functional departments at school level.The first part is the ‘introduction’,which contains research questions,significance,literature review,research methods,structure innovation and the insufficiency.Chapter 1 introduces the theories of career planning and their application of career planning guidance in private colleges and universities.This part also briefly introduces the guidance system of career planning for private colleges and universities.Chapter 2 is aimed at finding out the problems by analyzing the development and current situation of college students’ career planning guidance in Taihu University of Wuxi.Chapter 3 explores the enlightenment to the construction of career planning guidance system for college students in Chinese private colleges by analyzing the idea,characteristics and advanced experience of American college students’ career planning guidance system.Taking Taihu University of Wuxi as example,chapter 4 studies and explores actively the construction of college students’ career planning guidance system in private college from the aspects of institutions,curriculum construction,teachers’ construction,career planning consulting and measurement system construction,outside-school practice base construction,information service system construction and orientation of functional departments at school level.
