| Friendship represents a satisfying and supportive relationship between individuals.Children get help, support and encouragement form friendship.Children become more trusting and more accepting the world. And peers are more able to understand each other.Through friendship, children become more proud, more self-respecting andmore self-accepting.In the education about friendship, teachers always emphasize “sharing”,“helping”.Then teachers whocontent with the concept of the subject curriculumtell the children about the “scientific” knowledge. They ignore the child’s subjectivity. In addition, teachers ignore the randomness of the education about friendship. One is that teachers believe that education about friendship is the concentrated-activity,the other is that the teacher deals with the children’s conflicts of friendship in the same wayin different situations duringthe timely education.Understanding friendship from the perspective of young children helps us to re-examine the goals and methods of the education about friendshipin kindergarten. It can change the negative participation of children in education and improve the effectiveness of the education of friendshipin kindergarten. In this study,96 children(half boys and girls)who are in primary grades, middle grades and senior grades were interviewed. This study used group interviews, photo interviews, and Piaget clinical interviews, which were conducted of four aspects of friendship(interactive, stable, intimate and supportive).Through research,we can get the friendship in the eyes of young children:(1)interaction between the two sides: young children think that friendship needs to respond and interact;with the increasing of age, children gradually pursue the quality of friendship;children’s friendship has the characteristics of self-interest;children who with the same experience will easier to become friends;the friendship of young children pays more attention to the external characteristics;young children pays more attention to the similarity between them and their friends;the children think that friends have "hands" and "foot";young children think that friendship should follow their expectationsof moral;(2)The stability of friendship: Young children expect the stable friendship;children’s understanding of the stability of friendship is very similar to that of adults;the stability of children’s friendship is more stable in time dimension than it in space dimension;children’s expectation of moral affects the stability of their friendship(3)Intimacy of friendship: Children and adults have the similar understanding of the intimacy of friendship;(4)Supportiveness of friendship: young children think that friends should support each other;children’s understanding of supportiveness of friendship is stable; In a friendship, the supportive behavior of children have the tendency of Moral.Through the discussion of the results, the researchers concluded that young children can distinguish between the one-way and the interaction of friendship.Children have a consistent interpretation and prediction of the stability, intimacy and support of friendship. The theory about friendship of young children is the na?ve theory. Finally, the researcher tried to make suggestions from the perspective of the education about friendship and the social education in the kindergarten:Recognize that children have a naive theory about friendship--based on children’s experience and challenge children’s experience;respect the children’s naive theory about friendship--keeping a balance between solve problems by themselves and the teacher guides the problem-solving;Leding the children’snaive theoryabout friendship from a low level to a high level--teachers should pay more attention to the quality of education;the social education of kindergarten should pay attention to the interaction of education;thecontent of social education of kindergartenshould focus on the children’s experience. |
