The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China announced that moral education is the fundamental task of education.The music discipline is particularly important to cultivate a whole person with full-scale development of morality,intelligence and beauty.Music can provide students with an aesthetic experience,cultivate sentiments and inspire wisdom.However,at present,some elementary schools’ music teachers only pay attention to teaching songs on music textbooks,but ignore the more profound meaning music can bring to students.In the primary school music education,the common situation is that “students love music but do not like music lessons”.This phenomenon must be closely related to the teaching content and teaching methods of teachers.The concept of “effective teaching” was proposed in the 17 th century.It has always been the focus of classroom teaching.However,there are few studies on the “effectiveness” of classroom teaching for the music disciplines that can promote students’ all-round development.This article starts from three aspects: the concept of effectiveness,the establishment of effective music classrooms,and the analysis of effective cases.It uses literature review,case study,observation and comparison as the methods to make the research results concrete and operational.Effective teaching is the eternal pursuit of educators.The effectiveness of the music subject will receive more attention within the times.I hope this research can provide some support and help for the majority of music educators.
