The Research Of Pick And Roll Defence Of World Basketball Strong Team In The 31st Olympic Games

Pick and roll is a form of ball cover,and defend roll is actually the way of ball cover defence.Many teams attack mainly through the way of defense,and the type of defense will appear many kinds according to different conditions.So the characteristics of roll defence have become diverse many way.Therefore,the technology of roll defence has become a part of the development of basketball in the world.In this paper,the methods of literature review,video observation,expert interview,mathematical statistics and logic analysis are used to analyze the time,area and form of roll defense of some of the world basketball strong teams in 2016 Olympic Games.The results show that:1 Defense and defense cooperation is a method of defense and defense with ball cover through personal and team cooperation.The types of defense cooperation include replacement,delay,clamping,shadow defense,ICE,and hand flapper.There are different defense requirements for different types of defense.2 Basketball strong teams in the 31 st Olympic Games have certain time characteristics,regional characteristics and players’ position characteristics.3 There are different characteristics in the cooperation between the strong basketball teams in the 31 st Olympic Games,the American team has more rotation lineup,and the main defensive team is the replacement team,the Spanish team has poor defensive effect on the inside line and good defensive effect on the side.Argentina’s outside defense players are more flexible when defending defenses,and the defense ability is excellent,and the interference effect to the shield is good;Serbia team has strong integrity of defense and defends opponents through rotation.4 The strong basketball teams of the 31 st Olympic Games have many defensive defenses in order to push past,and the delayed defense means should deal with the fierce confrontations on the court;With the development of athletes’ physical condition,the strong basketball teams in the world have the tendency of exchanging defense in the form of roll defense.
