A Study Of Turkey’s Erdogan Era

The purpose of this study is to study the new internal and external strategies of Turkey in Erdogan era.Since assuming the presidency,Erdogan has acquired a multifaceted political approach,which has important characteristics of Turkey’s political,economic and social development,and strengthens Turkey’s position in following the Ankara-centered and multifaceted external strategy.Decades of NATOcentric foreign policy ideas have been reconsidered,and Turkey’s attitude towards NATO and the European Union has begun to change.Instead of giving priority to Turkey’s Westernization process,it is increasingly being promoted to non-Western regions.Among them,the new policy makes the Middle East a top priority outside Erdogan.There have been many studies on the new policy of Turkey’s internal and external strategy in the Erdogan era,but none of them can comprehensively address the structure and fundamental factors of Erdogan’s multidimensional approach in Turkish politics.It is of potential importance to study Turkey’s internal and external strategic approaches from different perspectives in order to demonstrate its leadership in the context of potential causal factors.This paper argues that President Erdogan’s strategic thinking and deliberate internal and external strategies have made Turkey the dominant player in regional politics.This paper also makes an in-depth analysis of the historical,political,economic and social cultural background,revealing Erdogan’s progress on the global stage.More importantly,the study shows the link between the image of Turkish leaders and their domestic and foreign strategies.Researchers use process tracking analysis methods.It also reveals an in-depth literature review of Turkish and foreign authors.The first chapter is a review of Erdogan’s biography and political career.In addition,this chapter provides readers with some biographical facts about the life of a leader,emphasizing his political career.The second chapter is about Erdogan’s domestic development,his achievements in the political,economic and social fields,his speeches and his ability to act at the right time,which increased his popularity and strengthened his leadership.Chapter 3: The international strategic thought of Erdogan era is the new impetus of Turkey’s international strategy.This chapter measures Erdogan’s international strategy to NATO,EU and Middle East.
