Research On The Grass-Roots Elderly Associations Participating In Old-age Dispute Mediation From The Perspective Of Social Governance

In recent years,with the increasing trend of population aging,many disputes caused by old-related are frequent,and have a serious impact on the rights and interests of the elderly groups and the construction of harmonious.The old-related dispute has aroused the concern of the society.Because old-related disputes have the characteristic of frequency,complexity and the existing dispute mode is difficult to achieve good mediation results.In the new era of innovating social governance and promoting the construction of harmonious homeland,grass-roots elderly associations can play an important role in mediation of old-related disputes by right of special edges,such as flexibility,timeliness,pertinence and so on,and cover the shortages of the existing dispute mediation model in a manner.Therefore,the study on elderly associations participated in the old-related dispute mediation has the realistic meanings of increasing mediation results.From the above point of view,this study take Marxism social management thought as fundamental guidance,and absorbing beneficial elements from Contemporary Chinese governance theory.On the basis of analyzing the current social situation and combing the existing practice,choosing‘TaiCang’ which is a healthy and established many grass-roots elderly associations city as the survey site.Firstly,by selecting cases,the main modes of grass-roots elderly associations mediating disputes involving the elderly are summarized,independent mediation model,volunteer participation model and government or other organizations cooperation model.On this basis,the main functions of elderly associations in old-related dispute mediation in this study can be mainly summed up as the following aspects: providing a new way for the legitimate rights protection of the elderly groups,injecting new impetus into the burden reduction of the government and other organizations,creating new opportunities for the socialization of legal services for disputes involving the elderly,and advocating traditional culture and harmonious society.The reason why grass-roots elderly associations can play a certain role in mediation of disputes concerning correct ideological,effective organization and reasonable strategies in mediation of disputes.Secondly,it reveals the dilemma of the elderly association in the mediation of old-related dispute,including the shortage of professional dispute mediation talents,uneven participation in dispute mediation,and insufficient coverage of dispute mediation,and analyzes the reasons for these problems.Third,put forward the optimum path of elderly association in improving the government’s attention of elderly association,improving the elderlyassociation itself to remedy awareness of the work and strengthen the social support in elderly association remedy work.Through the government push,its perfect,social support to make elderly association in old-related dispute mediation more smoothly and achieve a better result on elderly association participating old-related dispute mediation.
