| Amartya Sen is a famous contemporary economist and winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Economics.This article mainly discusses his concept of freedom in detail.The discussion of freedom has always been an enduring topic.Many famous scholars have talked about freedom,and Amartya Sen ’s view of freedom is based on the perspective of feasible capabilities.What can be done and what can be achieved can be achieved through the expansion of personal viability to achieve a variety of different lifestyles.He also associates freedom and preference.People can conduct self-censorship,and a series of basic judgments that are almost impossible to prove,such as minimum freedom,to express the understanding of freedom,and ultimately define substantive freedom as “enjoying people’s reason to cherish The viability of that kind of life."
