| Chinese locution is a sort of conventional and fixed expression in which three-character locutions are in the majority.It is vivid and interesting,and is easy to understand.Locutions are closely related to the daily life of the Hans and contain profound traditional culture of the Han nationality.With the improvement of Chinese proficiency,middle and senior international students have some understanding of locution,but the meaning and usage are relatively complicated,so international students always make errors.Therefore,the present research focuses on the acquisition errors of three-character locutions among middle and senior international students.The thesis designs a questionnaire concerning the usage of the three-character locutions among middle and senior international students in Shanghai University of Political Science and Law.Associated with HSK dynamic composition corpus,it analyzes the types of the acquisition errors of three-character locutions and discusses the corresponding reasons.Finally,the research puts forward some suggestions with respect to teaching materials and teaching methods,so as to provide some references for the foreign teaching of three-character locutions and to help middle and senior international students to reduce the acquisition errors of three-character locutions.The present thesis consists of five parts:The first part mainly introduces the reasons for the topic selection,theoretical foundation and research methods,and reviews the related research on the ontology of Chinese locutions and the teaching of Chinese locution as a foreign language.The second part is about the sources and characteristics of three-character locutions and discusses the differences between three-character locutions and other fixed expressions.The third part investigates the three-character locutions in the six comprehensive textbooks called Developing Chinese and two syllabuses based on two dictionaries,and selects thirty-three three-character locutions and designs a questionnaire concerning the usage of three-character locutions among middle and senior international students in Shanghai University of Political Science and Law,and then makes a detailed analysis of the results of the questionnaire.The fourth part is to combine the data of acquisition errors in the questionnaire and the corpus in HSK dynamic composition corpus,and to analyze the error types in foreign students’ acquisition of three-character locutions,mainly including writing errors,semantic errors,grammar errors and pragmatic errors,and also to discuss the reasons from three aspects,including locutions themselves,learners factors and teaching factors.The fifth part is to combine the questionnaire and analysis results,and to put forward some suggestions for the teaching of three-character locutions from two aspects: teaching materials and teaching methods. |
