The Performance And Aethetic Analysis Of ZhangZhao’s Solo Piano Work <The Chinese Dream> | | Posted on:2021-01-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Z J Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2415330611460768 | Subject:Music | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The contemporary China has its own unique style and characteristics in music creation.It is because that the composers from generation to generation have created a series of immortal musical works.This article mainly analyzes the piano solo work "The Chinese Dream" which is composed by Zhang Zhao(a Chinese contemporary composer)in 2013 in terms of performance and aesthetics.This piece of work is a description of the "Chinese dream" by the composer,meanwhile,the creation of the work is deeply rooted in Chinese traditional music culture.For example,this work is trying to simulate the timbre of chimes,guqin and other plucked instruments.Its musical form also incorporates the Daqu form from the Tang Dynasty---"Sanban(it just like Senza Misur)-Slow-Medium-Quick-Sanban".All of these show the author’s love of the motherland from this work.This article is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter is a brief description of the composer and the background of his work.The second chapter is an analysis of the musical ontology of this work,such as the structure of the form,the tonality of the tune,the harmony and music texture,and the detailed description of the imitation of Chinese traditioanl instruments.The third chapter is give some examples when we perform this work and analysis the technical difficulties of performance of this piece.At the same time,this chapter also analyzes the aesthetic manifestation in creation and performance briefly.The fourth chapter is combing the theory and practice and sets some problems and solutions when I palyed in the concert.This chapter also trying to delicate enlightenment in teaching and performance.Meanwhile,I also raised some related thinking to my reserch in order to do ready for the next study.The article mainly uses literature retrieval to find articles and read relevant knowledge and integrates it into writing.At the same time,I was trying to use interdisciplinary research method to analyze this work from the perspective of performance psychology and aesthetics,and supplemented this piece from my own concert experiences.The article hopes that after the basical analysis of <Chinese Dream>,most music lovers and music learners can have a basic understanding of Mr.Zhang Chao,and also have a new understanding of the music form structure,performance skills and aesthetics of this work.At the same time,this piece also hope that our China’s music creation,performance,and teaching can be closer to the masses at this stage,rather than putting music on the shelf.We all know that only the road which considers public’s needs of music development is a sustainable way for China’s music creation. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Zhangzhao, <, The Chinese Dream>, , Guqin, Chimes, Performance, Aesthetic | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
