Henhai,Jieyuhui and Qingbian are all written by Wu Jianren. These novels contain the meaning of "taking love for patriotism".The three romantic novels depend on different media, which from the publication of a single book to the serialization of a novel journal to a serial in a newspaper.Because the different media face different readers, the purpose of creation and distribution methods,Wu Jianren adopted different writing methods suitable for the characteristics of various media in the process of novel creation. At the same time, since the novel is linked to the remuneration, the circulation and the publishing industry, the novel has changed from a private reading to a tool for mass entertainment and public opinion.Under the influence of the new literary consumptive market and the new media,Wu Jianren’s original intention of using the romantic novel as "tools to promote ethics"was also deviated from the social and market effects produced by the three novels.Gradually, the novel after this turned to the leisure narrative, and the implications of political and moral education were weakened.Wu Jianren’s romantic novel is another manifestation of his ambition to serve the motherland. With the closer contact between the novel and the media, how to explore a better way to make the novel both have the political, aesthetic and commercial is the main reason for the changes in the writing methods and purpose of his novels.
