Analysis Of The Musical Creation Characteristics And Performing Of Zheng Concerto Arabesque

This topic is about one of the pieces which has been performed my master’s degree final concert:Arabesque,by Taiwan Zheng composer Wei-ci Fan.Through the analysis of the composer’s integration and application of different musical elements in this composition,this paper explores the differences between the composer’s creative style,performance practice and creative concept of Zheng music and China’s contemporary Zheng music.The author wants to analyze how the composer that understands through the characteristics of the instrument of interprets the foreign music style,the common playing techniques and the usual playing techniques of the composer,and how to use multiple musical elements to enrich the content and form of the music.The author divides the thesis into three parts:the straight matter is divided into three chapters.The first chapter the background introduction of the composer and his music.The second chapter divides into three points:analysis of the creative characteristics of the music.manual modulation of tuning,musical structure and harmonic characteristics.The final chapter is Analysis of Performance Characteristics,and take another young Taiwanese Zheng pcrformer:Dai-ling Xie version as an example.This paper analyses that the jump interval,the rhythm elements of the Peking Opera RouguJing,the left-handed glissando and deconstructing octave of change figures in music performing.Through analysing Professor Wei-ci Fan works,in the process of practice is not only in addition to being pioneered and learned another order but also broadened the interpretation and recognition of contemporary Zheng music works.
