The report of the 19 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the major social contradictions in China have been transformed into the contradictions between the people’s ever-growing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.With the change and development of urban society,people of city public space also from pure material needs to the direction of spiritual demand,which inevitably causes the social behavior of people in the square space,thus derived from different social relations,a square dance fire all over the whole of China is an obvious example.As the square dance fire throughout the country,noise and occupation of public space and other problems have also come.When the square dancers,conflict with the masses,media reported negative news related to square dance mostly became the hot topic,"aunt","land grab" and "noise" and other negative label was posted on the square dance group.If the stigma of square dance groups cannot be properly dealt with,not only the neighborhood relationship will be damaged,the rights and interests of others will be damaged,but also the public will have a wrong perception of square dance groups,so that the image of square dance participants will be damaged.Many negative influences are unfavorable to the promotion of public fitness and the construction of health in China.Therefore,the stigmatization of square dance groups has become a social problem to be solved urgently.In this context,the literature research,mathematical statistics,content analysis,field and questionnaire survey are the main research methods.The research object is the stigma feature,cause and resolution path of square dance.Ordinary residents and netizens are surveyed.The paper analyzes the characterization and influence of the stigma of square dance,and puts forward the suggestions for the dispelling of the square dance group.The study draws the following conclusions:First,due to the noise and encroachment space of the square dance group,coupled with the media’s hype and the blind tale of the "keyboard man",the stigma of the square dance group was caused.Second,the community has more disturbing problems than the square dance exercise carried out by the square park.However,the public’s public opinion on the square dance group in the real society is still very rational and healthy,and it is very inclusive to the square dance participants.Third,the reasons for the stigma of the square dance group are mainly the unfair behavior of the square dancers,the rendering and processing of some media,and the blind follow-up of some people regardless of the truth.Fourth,the stigma of the square dance group has affected the public’s cognition,damaged the image of the square dance group and reduced the credibility of the media.Fifth,based on the laws and characteristics of the generation and formation of social representation,the changes in the behavior of group members,the transformation of people’s ideas and the improvement of laws and regulations,the stigma of square dance groups will gradually weaken until they are completely eliminated.
